Running & Yoga...the perfect combination.

Complete your fall & winter training runs with a relaxing yoga session designed specifically for athletes with tight muscles!  Lengthen and tone muscles, improve core and postural strength, focus on deep breathing techniques, and enjoy a serene moment in your busy life.  This class is the perfect compliment to any fitness enthusiasts training program.  Runners, bikers, hikers and other adventurers will not want to miss this rejuvinating weekly yoga practice. 

*Option to come for only the Yoga as well.

YOGA for Runners Workshop

NEW:: This workshop includes a video of the practice!

Learn the benefits of Yoga for runners and how to incorporate a simple but highly effective practice into your current training routine.   Runners and athletes of all types will benefit from this master class.

Sarah Seads will review the biomechanics of running and identify muscular imbalances common to runners.  Learn how a specific Yoga practice can improve your performance, decrease your risk of injury and make you a faster runner.

Birgit Nilson will introduce you to the major principles of Yoga and provide you with a deeper understanding of the practice.  Birgit will then teach you how tocomplete a specific Yoga practice that will improve your physical and mental running performance.

Learn how Yoga is different from your regular stretching routine and how it can help you reach your running goals in this specialized workshop!

Combine the two areas that most athletes and fitness enthusisasts tend to neglect: CORE and FLEXIBILITY and voila...we have created the perfect training program for you! 

Strengthen your core and lengthen tight muscles to improve your performance and posture and decrease your risk of injury.

Each SCORE class includes 30 minutes of core training followed by 30 minutes of flexibility training - the perfect balance to correct your imbalances.
