Team Training

Thank you for your interest in our team training services! It is excellent that you are interested in incorporating a conditioning program for your team!  The benefits of a structured strength and conditioning program are priceless when it comes to the long term effect it has on the entire team's performance.

ELM Team Training Programs include initial assessments for agility, power and core stability to determine baseline fitness level.  This allows us to focus on specific areas that need improvement individually and in general.  

Each Team Training Program is designed specifically with your team's goals in mind.  No two training programs are alike but they all follow key training principles to ensure they are effective and results based.

Conditioning focus typically begins with stability, strength and decelleration and then work towards speed, agility and power over the course of the program. 

Cardio drills will develop aerobic power, increase anaerobic threshold and improve overall cardiovascular fitness. 

Strength drills will begin by developing stability through the core and work towards increasing explosive power using the 'linked system'. 

Speed and agility drills will be specific to improve the advanced footwork and multidirectional demands of your team's sport.   

Coaches: All ELM qualified coaches are either Kinesiologists or certified Personal Trainers with experience coaching and training team athletes.  As the program manager I hold a degree in Kinesiology, am a Personal Trainer, Weight Training Instructor with BCRPA, NCCP Coaching Twist Sports Conditioning Certifications.
