Always wanted to run a 10K? Or do you want to make a serious commitment to a new race time? ELM's online 10K training plans will ensure you reach your 10K goal.


Novice Plan 10 weeks

Designed for first time 10K racers, this plan begins with 4km of run:walking and builds gradually to the 10K distance over 10-weeks.  Participants must be able to run:walk 10run 1:walk 3kms prior to beginning this plan. Includes 4-5 training runs/week, hills and endurance training workouts.

Intermediate Plan 10 weeks

This plan is designed for individuals who are currently able to run 7-10kms and would like to improve their comfort level at the 10K distance.  Slightly less demanding than the Advanced Plans but more challenging than the Novice schedule.  Includes 5 training runs/week, hill, speed and endurance training workouts.

Advanced Plans 10 weeks

These plans are designed for individuals who are looking to set a PR in the 10K distance.  Each of these 'Time-Goal' plans includes specific workouts with pacing for your goal 10K time.  Includes 5 training runs/week, hill, speed, pacing and endurance training workouts.
